Update On May 9th C.I.M.S. Classes

Due to the short time to prepare and get materials the class scheduled for May 9th will convene the following Sunday evening, May 16th. The time of the class will begin at 5:00 pm but could be adjusted if this is an inconvenience.
We are hoping for all leadership and teachers to attend these classes.
The cost for non credited class is $40.00. If you want to use the class toward receiving a degree the cost will be some higher to cover the cost of the materials.

First C.I.M.S. Class

Classes for all ministry at Lakeside, including teachers, leaders and any one who would like to attend will begin on Sunday May 9th in the p.m. This is a spring and fall endeavor to help everyone to further their education and training in ministry. All teachers and leadership at Lakeside are urged to get involved. This will be a 5 week course of 3 hours each Sunday evening and is sponsored in partnership with The Tomlinson Center and Lee University. It is a DLC (Distance Learning Center) that is brought close to us in this area. Spend the time in learning it will be worth it.

TN. Ladies' day

On April 30th & 31st all ladies are invited to spend these days at Hickory Hills with other ladies making the trip to Dickson to be together for worship, fellowship, and fun together. For more information see Sister Martha Long, Ladies' Ministries Director.

TN. Men's Retreat

On Friday men from the local church will be traveling to Dickson for a couple of days as we gather with other men from across the state for great fellowship, good food and a wonderful time of worship. Plan to travel with us if you can. One of the church vans will be take those who plan to go.

No Cookout on Wednesday

We will not be having a cookout on Wednesday, April 14th. Just afraid too many will still be on spring break. We will plan to get outside for fellowship at a later date and warmer nights.
