Condition of Wendell Holmes

Prayer is requested for Wendell Holmes who is in Skyline Hospital that God will give him a speedy recovery. Earlier today (Thursday morning) he had a serious stroke with complications. Also ask God's blessings on the family as they spend time with him that God will strengthen them all.

Funeral arrangements for Danny Wilson

Visitation for Danny will be on Friday at Woodard Funeral Home from 2:00 - 9:00 pm
At Lakeside Church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the funeral at 2:00 pm.

Be much in prayer for the family.

Death of Danny Wilson

We are saddened at the death of Danny Wilson who passed away Tuesday evening at his home. It has been great to have Danny attending church and to see the changes Christ has made in his life in these past few months. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be posted when they are made.
His body will be at the Woodard Funeral Home and you may call 644-5222 for details.
Please pray for his family through this trying time.

Christmas Banquet

On December 15th at 7:00 pm we will be meeting at THE THOMAS HOUSE for our annual Lakeside church banquet. That is less than 6 weeks away and seating is limited. You can check the bulletin for prices and give Sister Reba Patterson or Melissa Graves the information needed to secure you a place at the table. We plan to have a great time again this year.

Great Revival

We want to report that we have had a great week as we gathered to enjoy the blessings of the Lord.
Our Sunday & Monday through Wednesday nights with Larry (Bubba) Meadors ministering to us as the Holy Spirit directed was outstanding. Special singing nightly was a blessing to all who came.
Our large attendance with visitors each evening was an encouragement and the testimonies of God's work in many lives was outstanding.
Lakeside thanks everyone for their participation and the pastor thanks Lakeside for the same.
May God bless as we move forward.

Time Change

Time changes on Saturday night November 6th.

Men's Skeet Shoot

On Sunday afternoon November 14th the men plan a shoot-out (or maybe a skeet shoot out). Bring you gun and plenty of shells and let's make a lot of noise. It's a fun time for everyone so get involved. See Richard Wix, Travis Carter or Tim Shelton for directions, instructions on field dressing and cooking skeets and what ever else is needed for the shoot.

Ladies Retreat

On November 12th - 14th ladies from Lakeside will be traveling to Ladies Retreat at Lake Barkley for the weekend. If you would like to join that number for the retreat see Sister Martha Long for more details.

Adoption Sunday

A presentation on Sunday, November 21st will be given showing all that the Adoption Ministry at Lakeside has been involved in. This will include a slide presentation and a word of encouragement toward getting involved in this ministry. You will enjoy seeing what has been accomplished.

Powerhouse 2010

The youth from 'FIREHOUSE' at Lakeside will be heading for Dickson to Camp Hickory Hills on November 19th - 21st for a weekend of fun, fellowship, church services and meeting other youth from across TN. It's "Powerhouse 2010" weekend and a large number are gathering. If you would like to be in that number see Greg or Tonya Dunigan or Scott Graves and let them make room for one more. The weekend will include a Super Concert with 'DECEMBERADIO'. Plan for a great weekend!!!!!

Cumberland County Playhouse

A trip is planned for November 27th to Cumberland County Playhouse at Crossville TN. If you would like to be in the number taking the trip and enjoying the play you may contact Jean Malley for more details. The church van will provide transportation for those who do not have a way and will be leaving the church at noon on that Saturday. Every one, young and old, who wants to go are invited for a great day of fun and fellowship.
