Pentecostal Power Meeting

A number of Lakeside folks traveled to Murfreesboro to meet with other churches for a night of exciting worship called 'Pentecostal power meeting'. The church there was overfilled with people seated in folding chairs and standing in the halls. The State Bishop delivered an outstanding message encouraging pastors and church leadership. It was a great time of fellowship and spiritually uplifting. Thanks to those from Lakeside who were in attendance there.

Wonderful Sunday Services

The last Sunday of January at Lakeside was a great day with outstanding services.
We had a full building of worshipers, full classes, excited praise and worship and seekers in our altar. This is truly the beginning of a great year of God's blessings being poured out in all churches that will recognize Him as Lord of the church.

Great Wednesday Services

Our mid-week meetings are great. With classes throughout the buildings we are able to minister to every age group in our church family. The Fire House had an outstanding number in attendance and also had two to receive Christ into their lives in that service. Come be a part of our meetings during the week as well as weekends.

Outstanding Services

The Lord through the Holy Spirit is paying us great and outstanding visits. We have seen people being saved in every service since before the beginning of this new year. Every Sunday morning service becomes a 'time of revival' when the praise and worship begins. The Firehouse on Wednesday nights is another great time and place where God is doing a great work among the youth. If you do not attend church and would like to be involved in this Pentecostal move come and join us. You will be blessed, I'm sure.

Surgeries went well

The surgeries of Estell White, Martha Long and Judy Meadors all went well. Estell is at home and doing well. Martha is in Centennial Hospital and Judy is at St. Thomas. Continue to pray for these ladies that God's hand will be with them through their recoveries.

Great Sunday

Everyone in attendance was blessed on the second Sunday of this new year. We saw the altar full of people praying for needs of their own and for their families. We had two to receive Christ as Lord of their lives. The worship, the singing and the Spirit was wonderful and played a very important roll in this Sunday's service. We appreciate those visiting and invite them to be with us often.

Special Prayer

It is very important that we include Israel and all the middle East in our prayers. Pray God's will on the events of the next few days as we see leadership changes that may change the future directions of many nations. Please 'Pray'.

Great First Sunday

The first Sunday of the New Year was a great day. The number that attended the morning worship was outstanding. The worship was truly blessed of the Lord. Our time of commitment during the communion service was Spirit lead. It is good to report that people were saved during this first Sunday of what I believe will be an outstanding year at Lakeside.
