Wednesday Night's activities

What a wonderful midweek gathering. Classes came together with great excitment. The 'FIREHOUSE' has 62 people gather for youth service. The service was charged with the Holy Spirit as they sang, danced and prayed. A young man, just released from jail, who had never been to 'Firehouse' before came and gave his life to Jesus. It was great.

ON SUNDAY (19th)

Reaching out to the lost could have been the theme for our service today. A young man driven by demons into the drug scene was delivered and truly blessed by the Lord. We rejoice about what God is doing in the Lakeside community. We are seeing that this young man is cared for in a Christian rehab center and believing that God has great things for him in the future.

"Lil Sparks for Jesus"

Sister Faye is beginning on Wednesday night classes with the little ones, ages 3 through 6 years of age.
They will be refered to as "Lil Sparks for Jesus" with 'T' shirts stating this for in house class room time.
They plan study in the Word time, puppets, crafts and much more. If you have or know little ones this age and they need to be in church bring them to "Lil Sparks for Jesus" class and watch them Grow.

Family/Friends Night

On March 29th we plan to have a special night for family and friends. Every regular attender is ask to bring a couple of your favorite dishes and we will gather in the Family Life Center for a time of fellowship.
You can invite family or bring friends and gather for a sit down meal. We will open the doors at 6:30 so you can prepare and we will begin the meal at 7:00 p.m. sharp. No Services that night just fellowship and a lot of talk. The play room will be open for the little guys to have fun in. Make plans to attend.

Firehouse Youth News

The Lakeside 'Firehouse' youth boarded the bus around 1:00 p.m. this afternoon for the 'Deeper Life Youth Conference' in Chattanooga TN. The 56 seater was nearly full with excited youth and sponsors on the trip. It's great to have such a wonderful group so excited about Jesus and what He is doing in their lives. Our prayers go out to the youth workers and ministers who give so much to see this part of our church succeed.

Sunday 26th - Four were saved, Youth bake sale brought in $1,000.40
Wed. 1st - Firehouse Talent night - Guest was powerlifter, block breaker
Thur. 2nd - C.P.R. Class with the Sheltons, first timers, others refresher, all enjoyed
Contract new bus for the Chattanooga trip to Youth Conference
Sat. 4th - Ladder 29 Youth activity in F.L.C. for all ages
Sunday 5th - Great Service, Baptismal service included
