Death Notice of Gracie Hall

Sammy Hall's grandmother, Gracie Hall, passed away and will be at Hunter's Funeral Home in Watertown TN. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 - 9:00 pm and on Wednesday 8:00 - 10:00 am with the graveside service at 11:00 am. She is the mother of the former pastor of Lakeside and former overseer of Tennessee H. Wayne Hall.

Tuesday's Concert Trip

The youth are planning to travel to T.B.N. Tuesday night to see Nicole C. Mullins in concert. If you plan to go you need to call the office at 644-3373 on Tuesday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm for time of departure from Lakeside.

Our Special Visitor

It was so great to have Sister Willie Lawson with us last week and also on Sunday. On Wednesday night she made a visit to the 'FIREHOUSE' as her grandson spoke to the youth on 'choices' and how to make the right ones. On Thursday night she attended the Prayer Intersessors class and spoke in the meeting. On Sunday morning Sister Willie gave a great report of the success in the Mexico mission work and how great numbers of souls were being saved and delivered. She also preached a great message from Psalms 50:15.

The Loss in the Perry Family

On Tuesday at 2:00 pm we will be with A. J. Perry and family for Virginia's funeral and burial. She will be greatly missed by the family and friends that knew her. We just ask that you pray for them in days to come.

Great Father's Day

We all had a great time on Sunday. The service was a blessing to all who were in attendance. We honored all fathers by telling them we were nuts about them and gave out nutty bars of candy from Cracker Barrell.

Sunday (June 11th)

Had a great day at church today. The Lord gave us a wonderful service and many were blessed.

We also sent campers and workers to church camp at Hickory Hills in Dickson TN. The church camping season is well underway and we will see many from Lakeside attending.

June 7-11 ..... Big Shot 6-8 yrs
June 11-16 ... Senior 15-18 yrs
June 17-22 ... Pre-teen 10-12 yrs
June 24-29 ... Junior 8-10 yrs
July 1-6 ....... Teen 12-14 yrs

Our Family Night at Lakeside

On Wednesday night we all made some memories. We had the pavilion grills filled with hamburgers as we all gathered for a special time with our families. The tables were set with baked beans, potato salad, chips, drinks and all sorts of deserts. Grownups were sitting talking and children were playing as we heard the sound of thunder. We gathered under the pavilion as the rain begin to come down. Our spirits stayed high and we stayed dry as we sat and talked, ate to our fill and watched it rain. Everyone had a great time together, and I mean together under the Lakeside pavilion.
