Sunday, Feb.26th, Service

The Lord paid the Lakeside community a wonderful visit. We had 3+ to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. There is great excitment everytime we meet. The Holy Spirit has freedom to bless as we allow unusual worship in our midst. We have come to expect the very unusual each time we gather. Come and see what God is doing.

Sunday's Bake Sale

On February 26, a bake sale for the 'FIREHOUSE' trip to the Regional Youth Conference in Chattanooga was a great success.
Items sold totaled over a $1,000.00 in support of the trip in March. If you would like to help sponsor a youth call Trina Graves for more details. The number taking the trip is growing. We plan to lease a bus and driver for the weekend so that the 'FIREHOUSE' can travel together.

Baptismal Posponed until Next Sunday

Due to the service on Sunday, Feb. 26th we will wait until the next Sunday to have the scheduled baptizing. If you planned to participate just be ready following Sunday morning service.

Baptismal Service

On Sunday February 26th we plan to have a baptizing following the morning service.
If you are saved and have never been baptized you may let the pastor know prior to the service. Bring family and friends on this special day. It will be a great gathering as we follow the command of the Lord to be baptized in water to show outwardly what God had done in our hearts.

Core Meeting on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

A core meeting is scheduled of this week at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leadership and instructors are invited. We will have discussion items that will effect all departments.

Sunday Services

Due to the weather the number in attendance was down some but the spirit was high.
The Lord blessed in a great way with two altar services before the day had ended.
One received Christ into their life another received the Holy Ghost and many others were praying for family, friends and their own needs. We praise God for such Spiritual Blessings as we enter to worship.

The classes will convene for the J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) ministry on Saturday morning, February 25th. from 9:oo -11:30 a.m.

Sunday February 5th

The air was brisk, the wind was sharp as we gathered Sunday morning for a time of praise and worship. The Spirit of the Lord came to be with us a powerful way. The house was completely packed with people eager to see the move of God in His house. Sure enough the Spirit moved on many as they prayed and sang. Everyone was blessed throughout the service. The message of the day was received warmly by all and as we went away everyone felt like they had truly been in the presence of God.

Ladder '29'

Saturday Night activity with the Upper Youth Group was a great success. The cold weather and the threat of snow couldn't hinder the excitment of 'LADDER 29' as the youth gathered for a night of food and fellowship, games and video, prayer and study. Watch the church bulletin for the next meeting of such.

Firehouse News

The Youth came from all directions. It was great to see such excitment as we gathered for our Wednesday evening classes. The Firehouse is breaking records in attendance with first time visitors. Those coming, if not already saved, are finding Jesus as Lord of their lives and have plans to return and bring more of their friends. There was a total of 52 in the Firehouse not counting the smaller class of kids and the nursery.
